Ron Harder, CPA, CA
Ron had his eyes on accounting as a profession at an early age. In fact, he wrote about it for a Grade Nine assignment! Along with his skills with numbers, Ron was also developing his talents on the golf course. The two pursuits have blended well together, allowing him to be active in his passion for helping people, along with playing golf.
After obtaining his CA designation in 1997, Ron began his accounting career in Red Deer. In 2003, he became a partner with Brown Smith Owen LLP, which later became Cornish Harder Niederle LLP in 2014. Ron enjoys assisting clients in achieving their personal and business financial goals, working alongside the different needs of each one. From doctors and lawyers to ranchers and oilfield services, Ron excels in getting to know his clients and adapting to their unique needs. Working together and setting a path to financial success with them gives Ron his greatest satisfaction.
Ron is also busy in the community, having served on the Boards of the Innisfail Golf Association, Red Deer Chamber of Commerce, and Deer Park Alliance Church.
Ron spends free time keeping active, with curling, cross-country and downhill skiing in the winter. In the summer, he enjoys his golf as a member of the Innisfail Golf Club, as well as competing in numerous tournaments.
Ron and his wife, Dianne, reside in the country, just outside Red Deer, where they enjoy the outdoors while trying to keep up with their yard work.
Dave Niederle, CPA, CA
A Chartered Professional Accountant since 2006 and a partner at Cornish Harder Niederle LLP since 2011, Dave brings nearly two decades of experience to his work with a large and diverse client base across a wide range of industries. His practice focuses on compilation, assurance, audit, tax planning, and business advisory services, providing clients with the technical expertise and trusted guidance they rely on.
Known for his approachable style and genuine relationships, Dave takes pride in the fact that many of his clients see him as part of the family — not just their accountant.
Outside of work, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, whether relaxing at the lake or travelling together. He’s also committed to giving back to the community, having volunteered with organizations such as the Rotary Club, Red Deer Minor Hockey, Ronald McDonald House in Red Deer, and the Autism Society of Alberta.
When he has a bit of free time, you’ll likely find him cheering on the Edmonton Oilers, playing hockey, or out on the golf course.

Jordan Collier, CPA
Jordan joined the Cornish Harder Niederle LLP team in 2020 shortly after obtaining his CPA designation. He became a partner at Cornish Harder Niederle LLP in 2025. Jordan values the importance of building relationships and takes the time to understand what his clients’ needs are. He takes pride in being accessible to clients and providing a high quality service in a timely manner.
Jordan was born and raised on farm southeast of Red Deer. He currently lives on an acreage with his wife near the family farm and assists in the farming operations during the busy harvest season. While agriculture is a part of his roots, he has worked closely with a wide range of businesses in a variety of industries.
Jordan is a current board member of the Red Deer Pond Hockey League. He loves spending time outdoors and stays busy with the various tasks around the farm. His hobbies include golfing, water skiing, watching hockey, and downhill skiing. He values the importance of family and the quality time spent with them.

Jodi Cornish, CPA, CA
Jodi commenced her accounting career with Brown Smith Owen LLP as a CA student in 1994 after obtaining her Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Manitoba. She then went on to obtain her CA designation in January, 1999 and was admitted to the partnership in January, 2003. She prides herself on establishing and maintaining close relationships with her clients with the primary goal being to fully understand their needs.
These relationships have become the foundation for extending solid professional advice to aid them in achieving either short term tax compliance and financial reporting requirements or long-term objectives including purchase and sale of a business, corporate restructuring and estate and succession planning strategies.
Through years of experience she has been able to effectively service a wide variety of industries including oil and gas services, medical practices, nursery and landscape businesses, trucking and hauling, retail operations, professional services, construction, consulting and manufacturing. Outside of work she keeps active and devotes her time to her family.
